Trying to create API call that returns list of blog posts filtered by specific tag value

have you tried with LiQL ?

 

SELECT * FROM messages WHERE depth=0 AND conversation.style = "blog" AND board.id = "BLOGID" AND tags.text = 'FOOBAR'
