About the SEO and accepted solutions

Hi guys,

I would like to know following is it possible or not and how to do it. Use case:

People searches help from Google and they can see that that discussion includes solution:

  1. In thread title or
  2. In meta description

I think this would add more traffic to our community because they can easily see that this problem/discussion includes solution -> "I have to read this".

Have you done this and if so how?

Regards

Hi @TeroRe,

Welcome to the Lithosphere. I think I understand what your asking. Your essentially wanting to have something like:

Question 1 - **Solved**

Question 2

Question 3 - **Solved**

Appear in the search results for your preferred browser right?

Yes, exactly.

That **Solved** can be seen in the thread title or meta description, depending which one can be done.

Is it possible or not?

Are you sure this doesn't already happen without your intervention?

Have a look at how this Google search displays for a solved post on Workshop:

Solved: Apricots that NEVER ripen! - Workshop

Same with our Dynamic Search Ads, the Solved definitely pulls through with no need for any intervention.

Eg the following Google ad is directing people who search for pallet projects to this Solved discussion on Workshop - https://www.workshop.com.au/t5/Outdoor/Pallet-DIY-Projects/td-p/2069

You are right Jason, **solved** can be seen just as we want 🙂 This was my bad because I looked just newest discussions with Accepted Solution and now I think it takes time for Google to index and update topics after AS is added.

But anyways, we don't have to do anything for this. All good.

Thanks a lot Jason.
