Limit number of posts by a new member..

Jump to solution

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to limit the amount of posts that a given rank can create at any time.  I understand this is not possible out-of-box through the community rank frame-work.  Has anyone done something like this, any ideas?

Thanks!

We have got the threshold on the number of posts a user can create in a certain time, but that is not role based and was implemented by the Lithium professional services.

Interesting, so you were able to do something like this by having Lithium PS build a customization to support this.  Thanks!

The flood controls will control how many posts a user can create within a certain period of time, but there's no way to set this by role OOTB.

What is the use case for what you are attempting to accomplish?

Ha!  I think this will help in the meantime.  Thanks Lili!
