Right now, as an Admin, I have the option of tagging myself (and other users) in a comment/reply.
However, a new user in the community tries to tag himself in a post and on my end, it looks like he doesn't have the option to tag.
I switched users and tried while under his alias/username and he doesn't have the option to tag another user.
Do I need to do something in admin to turn this option on for the community?

@jhaze As an Administrator, your user permissions are unimpeded by default. Users who are not in a role on the other hand have a host of permissions which are not allowed. I suggest to look on the User tab in the Admin interface. About 3/4 of the way down on the Default subtab, you will find the @Mention permissions. Make sure it is set to Grant. You can do this at a global level (default) or as specific as the node/discussion level (use the Chooser tool near the top of the page).
Hope that helps.
This worked like a charm. Thanks so much for clarifying. Awesome.
