The summer flew by and what a great couple of months it’s been here at Lithium HQ! In between being super focused on our day-to-day work, we took some time to let our toes sink into the sand. Some proud highlights for us are joining the Vista family, connecting with our customers at LiNC Local events in London and Sydney and the Lithy Awards Ball. Last, but definitely not least, we were proud to announce our Facebook integration! Wow-za, what a summer!

Technology: Data, data, data! It’s important to feed your data into your marketing automation system and tools to integrate at scale, as well as optimize campaigns.

Data: Don’t fight it- use it to tie your social strategy together! It can be a huge asset in allowing you to troubleshoot tactics, adjust strategies, prove ROI with metrics etc.
Planning: Another thing that marketers often run away from, but having a plan in place with the right stakeholders can put you a step ahead of the game!
Customer Journey: Being aware of what your customers are facing from marketing and support teams can help you acquire, serve and grow your customer base. The customer is an everyday, everybody job.

Who: When you get to know your audience through data, you’ll be better prepared to respond with context.

When: Stop playing the content strategy guessing game, and start using data to tell you when to post instead.
Where. Once you’ve targeted the right consumers with the right content, focus on publishing in the right channel, on the preferred device, in an authentic way.
Why: It’s more important than ever to improve content relevance, authenticity and maximizing its reach.
A great storyteller who incorporates the 5 W’s as well as our other tips & tricks is Covered California. This company makes the first move by telling their story with customers who had reached out to them on media platforms. These interactions led to creating 3 “Real Stories” videos where customers shared how Covered California positively impacted their lives. The team utilized Lithium Social Media Management (SMM) for Marketing to schedule, approve and publish the videos during the six-day long campaign. Their results were incredible: reaching more than 1.4 million people in 6 days, 4,370 likes, 476 comments and 923 shares.
