I am looking for a quick and simple way to measure why members decided to join the community at the point of registration. I was recently looking at the poll feature and wondered if that could be added to the Complete my profile page with 3-4 options for people to share why they decided to join. There would be no previous results from other members shared as we would view the results privately. Has anyone ever done this to collect that data or found a simple way to capture this without too much development work? I'd rather not have a survey on the site and we don't yet have capability to follow up with surveys in post-registration emails. Thanks for reading.

The question I would ask users in this scenario is what do they like about Google groups and Slack that makes them choose this over community. It might be that Community can play a different role so it's not trying to replace but augment the existing experiences in other channels. Have you done a survey of those users to find out what motivates them to use those channels? Is there anything they can't do that community can fill a gap for? You might get some interesting insights.

This was related to the 22.8 release and was fixed by a patch from the Khoros team which allowed us to not have to roll back to 22.7.

Thanks @Drew_C ok so this is useful to hear as we wondered if it was just us or directly related to 22.8. Glad you are able to pause 22.8 in Prod while this is investigated.
