Paul Gilliham is Lithium's Director of Customer Marketing, responsible for customer engagement marketing, social media and Lithium's own community, the Lithosphere.
If you have been to LiNC or read this blog for any period of time, then you will have heard of giffgaff. For the few of you who don't know, they are a radically new, socially-engineered mobile telecom. Well, radically new socially-engineered company full stop. They have 20 full time employees, 25% dedicated to their incredible community that supports, ideates and markets the service.
It's a great story, they told it themselves at LiNC this year, but also it's a favorite of analysts and media everywhere. Add one more to the list - Constellation Research, who announced yesterday that Vincent Boon, Head of Community at giffgaff is among the 29 Protostar winners in their first ever SuperNova awards.
From a pool of more than 70 applicants, Vincent is recognized among the few that have overcome the odds in successfully applying emerging and disruptive technologies within their organizations.
The 6 finalists who will win a SuperNova award will be announced at Constellation's gala dinner on October 28, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.
The Constellation SuperNova Awards celebrate the explorers, pioneers, and unsung heroes who successfully put new technologies to work. Most importantly, these leaders have created disruptions in their market and successfully delivered market changing approaches. The Protostar semifinalists were selected in five categories: social business, mobile enterprise, cloud computing, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies.
The whole team at Lithium want to congratulate Vincent on the semifinalist nomination and of course good luck in the finals. If you want to read the full release, we have it right here on Lithium.com
Nice one guv!
