2013_CC_logo_ko_3C_blue_bkgd.jpgOn September 3rd, 2013, Lithium participated for the first time in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge at San Francisco. This 3.5-mile race series is a chance for companies and employees to come together in a healthy, camaraderie-filled environment. It's also a way to give back! The San Francisco race benefitted Larkin Street Youth Services, a non-profit organization providing services to at-risk, homeless and runaway youth. It was a sold-out crowd with representatives from 360 companies from throughout the bay area, including Google, Levi’s,, Square, Twitter, Box, Wells Fargo and more.

Lithium had great representation with 17 runners! Not too shabby for an inaugural team. It was awesome to cross the finish line and hear Lithium get called out alongside many other great companies. Plus, it was good exercise and tons of fun. Way to go team!!

Congrats to our runners for completing the challenge! Shout out to our fantastic team captain @DeAnnaR for making it happen.

This is fantastic. Homeless youth need a place to go to so they can regroup and rebuild. They are every bit as smart as anyone else and will do just as awesome or even more awesome-er stuff than any of us could. Larkin Street is doing something very good and deserves all our support.
