This morning we announced that Lithium acquired Social Dynamx, an enterprise social customer care platform that helps brands respond to millions of social conversations in a cost effective way.
I’m thrilled by what this acquisition represents.
Together, Lithium and Social Dynamx deliver tremendous capabilities for customers. Social Dynamx completes Lithium’s social customer experience platform and extends our strengths in peer-to-peer community with even more innovation responding to customers where the conversation is taking place: on the social Web.
No other industry player has anything this real, this well integrated or this battle tested. Period.
Most importantly, it puts us in an even stronger position to help brands thrive through real social engagement at scale with their customers.
Lithium has a long history of doing this for more than 400 of the world’s iconic brands and, with our strengthened capabilities, we’re even better placed to help brands transform their businesses.
Both the imperative and the opportunity are clear: 70 percent of customer complaints on Twitter go unanswered, yet 66 percent of customers say valuing their time is the most important thing a company can do to provide superior service.
Most importantly, I’m really fired up that the combination of our two great companies extends Lithium’s ability to drive real financial results for our customers.
