Snack Breaks & Hot Takes is a digital series connecting you to experts in customer experience, brand owned communities, and digital contact centers. Running only 30 minutes, this event offers you an opportunity to take time for a snack, gain valuable insights from leading experts, and ask questions in the event chat.
Join our upcoming Snack Breaks & Hot Takes session to hear Derek Andersen, CEO and Co-Founder at Bevy, discuss what the future holds for community led events in 2022 and how businesses can bridge the gap between virtual and in-person events to engage all audiences.
For the past 15 years Derek has been building communities. He is the co-founder/CEO of Bevy, a SaaS product that helps companies like Salesforce, Atlassian, Google, Snowflake, and Adobe build virtual and in-person communities. He co-founded Startup Grind, a community of 600 Chapters in 125 countries educating, inspiring, and connecting startup people. Since 2012 Startup Grind has hosted 10,000 events for more than 500,000 people.
This was such a great event-- hearing from Derek was a really cool experience! From a digital standpoint, do you have any insight on hosting virtual events via Facebook/Instagram Live? This is something our company is tapping into, so any tips or tricks would be super helpful.
Thank you!
@lslifer great question and we are so glad you loved the experience! Our strategic services team wrote a blog on that very topic, Facebook Live events. https://khoros.com/blog/guide-to-facebook-live
Khoros strategic services team is here to help our customers navigate these new areas of digital trends. Let me know if you would like to get connected to that team.
Some of my customers missed this event. Will you let me know when the recording is available to send the link out?
@MeredithE we expect to have the on-demand version today on khoros.com. Will also post here when available.
