You may have attended our Virtual Event either this year or last year, the Social Customer Virtual Summit. The notion of virtual events are becoming incredibly compelling for both companies and attendees.
No more stuck in airports, waiting in line for cabs, the anonymous hotel rooms. Now you can attend an event in between meetings, or even from home in your PJs with a cup of tea. It's all very civilized.
ON24 is one of the biggest at creating and running these events, they partnered with Lithium to put on the Social Customer Virtual Summit for the last two years. If you've ever thought about putting on an event like this, well the best place to start could be to attend VUE2010 tomorrow (Dec 14th).
VUE2010 is ON24's virtual show about, well, virtual shows. Nobody knows them better than those guys so it's well worth attending. You'll hear examples from companies like IBM,Cisco, Oracle, CA Technologies, GlobalSpec, Medco, and Fiserv all who use virtual environments to help deliver incredibly rich events for very distributed audiences. Over 3500 have registered already so you'll get lots of opportunity to talk with people about their experiences and what they're doing.
