As this is my inaugural blog post, I thought I'd introduce it a bit to give you a feel for what The Cool is all about. I've always been a fan of advertising and promotions. I think people who do it right can create these amazing messages and stories.
As we know, the times they are a-changin' -- brand communication is not one way. It has been interesting to see how big, established brands and agencies have adopted (or not adopted) the new ways of thinking and the new channels of communication.
That, in a nutshell, is what this blog is about -- observations about the campaigns, ads, and promotions that I've found memorable for some reason or another.
Also, R.I.P. Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.
