PRODUCT RELEASE: Quote Tweets in Khoros Social Marketing. Now Available!
What is this?
With the enthusiasm for Quote Tweets (aka retweets with comments), Twitter has upgraded the visibility of Quote Tweets this summer. Khoros has also upgraded our treatment of streams with Quote Tweets and routing for Quote Tweets too. Anytime someone else quotes your tweets, all available Quote Tweets from the Twitter API will be ingested into Khoros.
Core to successful engagement with your audience on social is to be clued into the conversation in the first place -- and this is why it was a clear win to add in support for inbound Quote Tweet activity in the Inbox. Since the popularity of the Quote Tweet function has grown when replying to a tweet, we want to make it easier for you to follow these conversations:
When would I use this?
Use this to make the most of the engagement across your community on Twitter. While Khoros has supported the ability to reply to Tweets with a quote for a few years now, we now also give you a first class experience to see Quote Tweets in a stream or collection and to route content to specific teams.
This sounds great! Where can I find it?
Quote Tweets are now supported in Social Marketing in two ways:
1) Creating a Quote Tweets Stream:
As you choose to select adding a new stream to your Social Inbox, you select a new stream type and now see a new option called “Quotes of Your Tweets.”
2) Creating rules that automatically route and automatically label Quote Tweets:
Updated routing criteria with new rules to specify Quote Tweets content. In your Company Settings, under Rules, selecting the Twitter channel, Quote Tweets will be an option under Content Types.
Does everyone have access to Quote Tweets streams and rules?
Inbox access to create a new stream is open to all users with a workspace that includes access to Inbox.
Rules configuration access is for users with Manager or Admin roles.
No special configuration is necessary beyond confirming your role and your workspace.
