I'm so glad to be reminded of this blog post 2 years later! BUT ALSO - it seems odd that an update to the body of the blog post caused it to be at the top of the homepage feed? (and I'm curious what got updated!)
In Aurora - updates to many parts of an article will push it back to the top of the feed. (SEO description, summary, co-author(?), etc)...anything that revs the version I believe. and pretty sure I pushed that through my Acct team as an ENH request, or ticket, or feedback or whatever. So used to it now.
