I'm sorry if this has already been shared, I couldn't find anything about this when I searched.
I'd really like an autosave (similarly to how it work on forum posts) when writing direct messages. I often get reports from members that they have written a long reply via their community inbox and when they have gone to click 'Send' it has timed out/page has refreshed and their reply disappears. This is very frustrating for many active members who regularly us this feature.
I've had this myself where I've perhaps got distracted or popped to a meeting, and I've come back to finishing off my direct message and then it has timed out. I'm regularly having to copy and paste by text in case something happens.
If there is a current workarounds for this as well, I would be happy to explore that.
