I would think the first use case would be unidirectional from Flare to Lithium Community. The point of Flare is that you can single source your technical documentation, publish to many different formats, but manage and update it in one place.
I would think that the integration should simply be an easy way to take an output produced using Madcap Flare's Clean XHTML target and publish it to a community in your organization with a minimal workflow.

The audience for the integration would be technical writers who want to publish their technical documentation on their organization's community, but keep control of it and single source their content in Madcap Flare.
"What's the value gain of such integration?"
The value gain is that writers can then control their content on their organization's community without too much time consuming administration and development work just to be able to use their existing documentation tools.
