Navigating the metric grid

The main view of Metrics Explorer is a grid of metric cards organized into category sections. The header gives you global controls that apply to the entire view: a date range, a metric search box, a Compare button, and a Filters button.

Date range

The date range at the top of the page applies to every metric in the grid. Choose a preset or set a custom From/To range. Changing the date range refreshes all visible cards and recalculates the comparison badges (vs. previous period and vs. last year) accordingly.

Note: only data from the last 2 years is visible through the Metrics Explorer. The date range can be set up to a maximum of 1 year for analysis.

Metric count

The header shows "Metrics (86)" — the total number of metrics currently visible. This count updates as you apply filters or search terms.

Category sections

Below the header, metrics are grouped into category sections (Traffic, Members & Registration, Content, and so on). Each section is labeled and contains the cards for that category. Scroll vertically to move through categories.
