Cross-Board Posting - Miscellaneous
How Cross-Board posting interact with other integrations.
Button visibility by user state
The “Create Post” button behaves differently depending on the member’s registration and permission state.

Board-specific settings after board selection
The post editor that opens is the same editor used when posting directly on the destination board. All board-specific settings apply without exception.

Action |
What happens |
|---|---|
|
Post published successfully |
Member is redirected to the newly created post on the destination board. |
|

Inline error shown in the editor. Member stays in the editor to fix and re-submit. |
|
Cancel / Discard |
Member is returned to the original page where the CTA was clicked - the homepage, the category page, or the group hub page. Not the destination board. |
|
Network failure |
Retry option presented. Draft content is preserved. |
