How Cross-Board posting interact with other integrations.

Button visibility by user state

The “Create Post” button behaves differently depending on the member’s registration and permission state.

The post editor that opens is the same editor used when posting directly on the destination board. All board-specific settings apply without exception.

Note: Cross-Board Posting does not bypass any board-level moderation, content rules, or required fields. Every post is subject to the same validation as a post created directly on that board.

Post-submit and cancel behaviour

What happens

Post published successfully

Member is redirected to the newly created post on the destination board.

Validation error (e.g. missing required field)

Inline error shown in the editor. Member stays in the editor to fix and re-submit.

Cancel / Discard

Member is returned to the original page where the CTA was clicked - the homepage, the category page, or the group hub page. Not the destination board.

Network failure

Retry option presented. Draft content is preserved.
