To clarify a couple of points:
- Data retention is not affected: all current retention policies remain in effect, as noted in the update;
- The change affects the content date ranges for content delivered "live" only: as you likely realize, we had a system-wide outage about two weeks ago that rendered ALL historical data innaccessible: we restored the prior 6 months within a few days (per our outage page notes to this effect) and are in the process now of restoring 2 years of live history for all customers: we expect this to be complete with the next week.
So, in summary, data retention is not impacted; With the next week all customers will again have a full 2 years of live access to data for analysis, reporting, and engagement.
