The following are the official rules for the Lithium Technologies, Inc. (“Sponsor” or “Lithium”) contest that will take place on Lithium social channels and Lithium’s LiNC 2016 mobile application on June 9, 2016 to June 10, 2016.


Rules are subject to change. Please check back on a daily basis for any material modifications as advanced notice of change will not be provided.



Contest open to existing Lithium customers, business partners, and prospective customers. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official Rules, which shall be final in all respects. The following are not eligible: employees, contractors, directors and officers of Lithium Technologies, Inc. or their immediate family members.



  • The contest instructions will be posted on the Lithium Reach contest blog by 12pm PT on June 9, 2016 and/or on Lithium’s LiNC 2016 mobile app ( by 12pm PT on June 9, 2016.
  • Entries are due by 11:59pm PT on each Entry Period day, and the daily winners will be announced by 11:59pm PT the next business day.
  • The Entry Period for the June 9, 2016 daily contest begins at 9am PT on June 9, 2106 and ends at 11:59pm PT on June 9, 2016.
  • The Entry Period for the June 10, 2016 daily contest begins at 12:00am PT on June 10, 2106 and ends at 11:59pm PT on June 10, 2016



During the Entry Period, enter the contest by following the instructions noted in the Reach contest blog on the Lithium Community and/or in Lithium’s LiNC 2016 mobile app:




  • By participating in the contest and/or claiming the prize, both contestants and the winner authorize the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness, by Lithium as described in these Contest Rule.
  • In accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that contest representatives may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
  • Substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value may be made in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.



The winners of this contest will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period. 

At 11:59pm PT on June 9, 2016 and June 10, 2016, the daily contest period will end and a panel of qualified Lithium employee judges will select the top entries from among all eligible submissions. There will be a total of three (3) winners for each daily Entry Period.

Decisions of the judges are final and binding. Only the daily winners will be notified. Entrants will not be notified if their entry is disqualified or if their entry does not win. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.



  • On each daily Entry Period, there will be three (3) winners as follows.
  • One (1) winner will win a $200 e-gift card and two (2) winners will win a $25 e-gift card to one of the following retail brands:
    • Starbucks
    • Petco
    • StubHub
    • Best Buy
    • Open Table
    • AMC Theatres
  • Prize is not redeemable for cash. 
  • All prizes will be fulfilled by June 30, 2016.
  • Winners will have until June 24, 2016 to submit a valid email address to receive their e-gift card. If they have not claimed their e-gift card by providing a valid email address by June 24, 2016, the prize will be void.



  • The winners will be officially announced in the contest blog post on Lithium’s View, via @LithiumTech Twitter, and/or in Lithium’s LiNC 2016 mobile app by 11:59pm PT the next business day of each Entry Period.
  • The winner will be contacted via private message and provided with details to obtain their prize.



No cash redemption or substitution will be allowed. If any prize is unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.  Winning constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for Lithium to use winner’s name, images, video, hometown, likeness, prize won, and photograph (all at Sponsor’s discretion) for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Contest parties and their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete or delayed Entries; all of which will be void. Released Parties are also not responsible for problems related to technical malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failures, phone lines, failure of any entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, traffic, congestion on the internet or the website, or for any other technical problems including telecommunication, miscommunication or failure, and failed, lost, delayed, incomplete, garbled, or misdirected communications which may limit a entrant’s ability to participate in this contest. Released Parties are not responsible for any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether network, printing, typographical, human or otherwise relating to or in connection with the contest, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions with may occur in connection with the administration of the contest, the processing or judging of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any contest-related materials. Mass entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the contest in the event it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired, and to cancel or suspend the contest in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the contest and, if terminated, at Sponsor’s discretion, determine the winner using all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time of cancellation using the judging procedure outlined above. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these official rules. Authorized subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the email address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and void his/her entries)) it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this contest or website, intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant, Sponsor, or any of its representatives or to otherwise be acting in violation of these official rules. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operations of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by the law and to disqualify such entrant from the contest.   All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.   With respect to any disputes regarding contest, the decision of Sponsor is final. 

Entry of the contest assumes the complete release of Facebook by each entrant.  This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and any information provided by Entrant is to Sponsor and not to Facebook.



Entrant hereby assigns its entry and all other materials of every kind whatsoever created by entrant relating to the contest (collectively, the “Work”) to Sponsor (or, if any applicable law prohibits or restricts such assignment, entrant hereby grants to Sponsor an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable license of) limited right, title and interest in and to such Work, including, without limitation, all rights of every kind and nature (whether now known or hereafter devised, including all copyrights therein and thereto and all renewals and extensions thereof), throughout the universe, in perpetuity, for all purposes, in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised. By submitting an entry, entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor may obtain many submissions under this contest and that such entries may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to others submitted under this contest and/or other contests staged and/or sponsored by the Sponsor, and waive any and all claims entrant may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any composition, design, video and/or other works accepted, reviewed and/or used by the Sponsor (or its respective designees) may be similar to his/her entry. Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor does not have now, nor shall any of them have in the future, any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of any copyright in and to entrant’s entry.  By entering in this contest, entrant agree to Sponsor’s use of their personal information for both online and offline direct marketing purposes.



Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from the contest. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules. Contest subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
