For the past four years we have celebrated our customers’ success with the annual Social Customer Excellence Awards. The “Lithys” as we affectionately call them, have become a highlight of LiNC and also just a phenomenal record of how companies are transforming the way they connect with customers. This year we have some familiar categories, and some new ones.
Support Savings MVP - This award recognizes the company that has best demonstrated significant cost efficiencies and support savings for their business. Have you decreased time to agent response, increased agent productivity and resolution rates, reduced case escalations, and/or increased call deflection? Tell us about your amazing support savings through quantifiable results.
Excellence in Customer Satisfaction - This award recognizes the company that has showcased a significant increase in customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value among their customers. Has your social platform improved customer retention, decreased customer complaints, and increased your Net Promoter Score?
Lithium Platform Innovator - This award recognizes the company that has demonstrated true innovation in leveraging the Lithium platform. Have you extended your community and integrated deeply to other properties? Have you taken your community content, the REST API and created something novel and cool to stake your claim as a leader in the space? Are you integrating your community to other business systems?
Best Community Design - This award recognizes the company that has a winning community design. Have you created an amazing and innovative user experience for your community? How have you aligned your community design with the rest of your brand’s digital properties? Do you have a community interface that encourages participation and easy consumption of content? Demonstrate how your design has helped you increase community vibrancy through quantifiable results.
The Organization Game Changer - This award recognizes the company that has pushed the envelope by changing the customer experience game. Has your organization successfully re-aligned resources, teams, stakeholders and overall company strategy in order to drive better customer experience? How have you changed the customer experience game through organizational maturity and cross-functional collaboration?
Digital Strategy Leader - This award recognizes the company that has implemented a stellar digital strategy. Have you driven an increase in acquisition through metrics like # unique monthly visitors, referral traffic, share of voice, SEO, and # of leads? Has your digital strategy helped to build brand advocacy and increase loyalty?
Most Creative Promotion or Launch (Video Entry) - This award recognizes the company that has rolled out creative approaches to promote their community and/or launch. Tell us about your innovative campaign whether it was for the initial launch of your community or another significant milestone like a community redesign or anniversary. To be eligible, you must submit a written entry along with a video that describes or showcases the campaign.

Accepted Video Codecs: H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, H.261, H.263, Motion-JPEG, VP-6,
WMV-8, WMV-9, or VC-1
Accepted Audio Codecs: AAC, MPEG-2 Audio, MP3, PCM, Windows Media Audio, AD-PCM, or AMR

Regional Star - Although not a separate award category for which to submit nominations, we are excited to launch regional recognition this year. Out of all the submissions we receive for the various award categories, we will select one general winner from North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Hint on submissions: The more evidence you provide to back up the story, the better your chance of winning. The competition has become hotter each year, and there are amazing success stories out there. The more impressive the story, the better chance you have!
