The fourth Monday of every January is OFFICIALLY Community Manager Appreciation Day - and so it should be, these guys are on the front line of your company's interactions with customers. And it's not an easy job.
This year, take a couple of minutes on Monday 24th Jan to say thanks to your CM.
Buy them a donut, a coffee, tweet them using #cmad, thank them for the amazing things they are doing, or just say hi.
Personally I think we should name it Hug a Community Manager Day, but some depts in corporate may have an issue with that 😉
It's not all thanks though - there are some actual events for all us Community Professionals around the US. If you're close, drop in and have a drink. We'll be at the Silicon Valley party at the Steelhead Brewery in Burlingame on Monday, come join us!
