Confused about where to post

Confused about where to post

Hi team!

I just wanted to let you know that I am always a little confused about where to post my Lithium related questions. There are a number of boards that my questions could often fall into:

  • Li Discussions
  • Customer Connection
  • Support Forum
  • Strategy
  • Developers (though that one is a bit more clear)

What's the difference between these? I know Li Discussions and Strategy are public and the other two are customer-only. And maybe Support Forum is for more specific issues whereas Strategy is more general, and perhaps applicable beyond community to all of CX? In any case, the difference is subtle. If there's any clarification you could provide, I'd be most appreciative!

Hi @CarolineS

Thank you for the feedback, I have tried to outline the goals of each area below.

The Li/SMM/Messaging/JX Discussions are all for product specific content, like best way to use certain features, best practices etc.

The strategy board is more of a general area where you can discuss how best to use your various products and other services together, find out about best practices and general insights.

The Customer Connection is available to Customer's only and provides an area to discuss things that you do not want to risk your users finding randomly via google (e.g. questions about superuser management, upcoming promos and events) as well as being somewhere to go and connect with your fellow customers

I will look to update the board descriptions and update my  to help out others in the future.

Thank you very much for the response, @AndyK! How does the Support Forum fit into this?

The support board is for more technical (but not developer) questions or if you think you have found a bug but would prefer to check before creating a case or would like to see if there is any workarounds while a bug is getting fixed.

Ok, got it, thanks @AndyK!
