Community Engagement Manager Role Open at Cisco Meraki

Remote within US

The Meraki Community is an online learning and engagement ecosystem that supports Meraki’s global partner and customer audience base. It is the central hub for Meraki users to connect with other IT professionals and networking gurus to ask for help, share expertise, network, and grow professionally.

We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager who can expertly evangelize and grow the community both within Meraki and with our customer / partner base. An ideal candidate has experience cultivating online communities, is an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, has a bias towards action, and knows how to use data to drive decision making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Increase engagement of existing community members by designing and executing marketing campaigns, contests, gamification, and other initiatives
  • Cultivate and support the base of community super users by growing and managing our VIP program
  • Increase internal awareness and involvement in the community by managing and evangelizing various internal programs
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative data about community sentiment and make recommendations on program improvements to pursue as a result
  • Track and report on community engagement outcomes against quarterly KPIs
  • Represent Meraki in the community and help to build a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community environment for members
  • Engage in Community moderation and manage questions and inquiries from Community members
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to write for a variety of channels and platforms
  • Proven understanding of the latest community management and engagement best practices
  • Confidently use data in decision making; demonstrated understanding of tracking and metrics
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and constituents to get things done
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • 2-5 years of experience developing and growing online communities (forums, discussion groups, social networks) or in another equivalent customer-facing role
