Smartbear is looking for a new Community & Education Manager to join their team! The position is Remote, or based in Coconut Creek, FL.
Community Duties
- Moderate community posts and responses
- Generate content for hosted events, contests, promotions, and technical guides
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to generate viable solutions to open queries
- Monitor other online sources for changes in trends and customer satisfaction
- Analyze search results to identify content gaps
- Evaluate user feedback and usage metrics to determine potential community enhancements
- Assist in the writing of monthly community news
Education Duties
- Provide support to the licensing team to manage users who need access to on-demand courses, live courses, and certification exams
- Assist in the generation of training materials and courses to be posted on the SmartBear Academy
- Manage the day-to-day requests and operations in the LMS
- Add, update, and remove videos from our video hosting service
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience work in community management, social media, or other related field
- Solid understanding of organic and paid social media
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of marketing automation, campaign management systems, or related tools.
- Working knowledge of gamification principles
Nice to haves:
- Background working with Khoros Community Platform
- Experience using a Content Management System such as WordPress or Drupal
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with copywriting and content development
