I just wonder if I upload picture where is goes?
I mean if I upload picture:
- Public board and discussion
- Hidden board and discussion
- Private message
Are all of those three pictures everyone to see if goes to the users gallery page? If so, can I change some default settings to community level and if so, from where?

in all situations the pictures are public unless you upload them to a private album.
Essentially images in posts don't have the same level of permissions applied to them so for example if you post in a private board and add an image, that image could appear in a latest image component on your home page which is public and visable to all because images sit as their own object.
Best plan of action is to add your private "hidden" images to your private folder.
"Good luck", okay thanks mate 🙂
I dont understand why pictures in private messages should go also to the public folder by default...
If you visit once per year in the community, you dont spot that option "public/hidden folder" when you upload a picture.
I dont like this.
The album for uploaded images is determined by the setting in - Images - Default User album to place uploaded images
With Auto Detect, they will be placed in a user's hidden album when added to a permissioned board or category.
One more question @RobbL, if that setting is "Public" it means all the uploaded images goes to public folder (even from PM:s and hidden boards)?
If I change this from "Public" to "Hidden, it effect´s only to the pictures what are uploaded after settings is changed?
Yes, @TeroRe. That is my understanding. When we introduced this feature, we set the default to Hidden to start off with the most conservative approach, and likely the one people would want. If it is set to Public on your community, my expectation would be that someone explicitly changed it to Public, although they may not have understood the implication.
