Badges based on activity in a specific time - specific board

Hi everyone,
in this documentantion about badges, I saw this comment by @Tim_h:

I'd really love to see badges that take activity based on specific times.
[...]

Or for users who logged in, posted or kudoed on a specific day or date range.

Great way to flag in early adopters, special event days etc.

It's possible now via the user_id option, but it'd be great to be able to automate it!

I'm looking for the same result. If I get it right, it is not possible to build a badge formula based on user activity in a date range.
The comment above talks about a way of doing it by using the user_id option. Can someone tell me how?

I also would like to relate a badge to activities (post, replies...) in a specific board? Is it possibile? Smiley Frustrated

Thanks.

I'm afraid not @salvatorelab.

You might like to add your vote and comments to this enhancement request - https://community.lithium.com/t5/Product-Ideas/Badge-for-participating-on-a-special-day/idi-p/190378

The only way to do it currently is manually. Set up a new role, create a badge that requires the role, then give the relevant users the role.

You also can't currently reward users for activity on a specific board. The activity must be community-wide. Again you might like to add your vote and comments to this enhancement request - https://community.lithium.com/t5/Product-Ideas/Badge-for-participating-on-a-particular-board/idi-p/1...

And while you're at it, this one will hopefully also be of interest - https://community.lithium.com/t5/Product-Ideas/Badge-for-starting-a-great-discussion/idi-p/201469

At the moment badges mainly reward quantity - I would like to reward quality.

Thank you for the ansewers.
Unfortunately the author of the following quote ( @Tim_h) didn't reply.
What do you think about his solution?:

It's possible now via the user_id option, but it'd be great to be able to automate it!

It seems to be some way to "manually" build such badges. Can you figure out how?

Thanks.
