We've been thinking about implementing the promoted search feature in our community and we've been trying it out in our staging community.
However, we run into the issue that we can't add different rules to different categories. Which means that our language communities (which are set up as different categories) will have all the same promoted content.
The support team already confirmed that this is expected behaviour, but I wanted to hear if someone has found a workaround?

We also use categories to separate our languages (English/French) and have not found a workaround for this yet, however, by using keywords that are language specific has proved to work just fine for us. This may not work for everyone since certain technical terms, for example, are the same in different languages.
