Search Index external site

I couldn't find an answer on the Community...  Does Lithium index sites that are external to Lithium?  I have number of posts on our Community with URL that is leading to a different documentation site and I wasn't sure if Lithium has an ability to index the content on the site for search purposes.  Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately, lithium OOTB search would not index the external resources. You have to approach a custom search. We had implemented it in our community. I sent you a PM.
