How do I determine community activity and membership?

Hello everyone,

I am running through Community Analytics and would like to know if there is a why to break down my total membership and see different levels of activity. I hope to someday have out of the box reporting to help - until then, how are you using Community Analytics to break out activity from total membership?
Thank you,
Toby

Re: How do I determine community activity and membership?

Heya @Toby,

I'm happy to help. Can you be a little more specific about what kinds of "activity" you would like to analyse/report on? What questions are you trying to answer?

Re: How do I determine community activity and membership?

Hi @JasonHill

I appreciate the reply.
I can see my total membership, but what about:

  • Active: members who have viewed at least one item in the last 30 days
  • Participating: members who have kudoed or commented on a post in the last 30 days
  • Contributing: members who have created content (new question or discussion) in the last 30 days

Using Community Analytics if would be great to build on the graph shown in the: Members > Top Members. How many people are engaging and creating?
Make sense?

Cheers,

Toby

No worries. I would recommend you utilise user reports @Toby

Admin/Metrics/User Reports
