Seems like a solid work around. We currently don't use any 3rd party tools like that in community. Maybe marketing has access to those. 

Ideally, we'd like to keep it in the same system. 

What I heard from my admins was trying to trigger this action via some very basic action on the community and use it as a 'rank' trigger.
