Hi Lithosphere,
I am editing a blog, and I would like to update the alt tags and titles on the images, but I'm running into trouble with my HTML—either the code is not accepted or the image is removed. Keep in mind that I'm not an HTML expert. The author uploaded the original image, so the title shows as the file name. Has anyone run into this problem before? If I don't have access to the original image, how can I change the alt tag and title for images in the HTML of a blog?
Thank you!

@Odysseus - Have you checked out this article which outlines how you can add the different supported tags?
I hope this helps.
@VarunGrazitti – Thank you for your response and for the list of HTML tags. However, my question pertains specifically to changing "alt" and the "title" for images. My goal is to update Alt text/tags and image titles, so when a viewer hovers over the image they will see a title other than the image file name. Based on my research, it appears that a custom code is created for images that restricts additional entries. The script output for images (in the editor interface) is as follows:
<p><li-image width="467" height="207" alt="image.png" align="inline" id="00000000000" size="large" sourcetype="new"></li-image></p>
Although I have learned that I can change alt="image.png" to whatever I want, the image title will continue to show as the image file name (image.png) and I am unable to update that.
Do you know of a way to update the Image Title?
@Odysseus - Looks like a limitation in the current media setup. Have a look at this idea which would answer your question.
I have had the issue several months ago. But, It solved after 2-3 weeks. My manager did it for me. I'll be let you know, once I got answer.
Thankyou,
