I'm pretty sure the answer is "no", but in case I've missed something - is it possible to allow TKB Helpfulness ratings for anonymous (i.e. not logged in) users? Specifically, I mean allowing anyone, not just registered users, to provide TKB ratings.

Your right! Not possible!
It amazed me to discover this the other month as rating a piece of content is very passive and shouldnt mandate authentication I mean you can leave a comment on a Blog and not join the community so why not rate it, personally a hole in the functionality of TKB.
Im not sure how exactly yet but I’ll be looking to try and build a custom component which will do this either storing in lithium or better still and more easily “I think” in google analytics using events to fire as a visitor says yes/no to how helpful something was.
If you find a way to hack this in let me know 🙂
