Any ability to automatically notify a user when a specific level of kudos are obtained?

We are reworking our idea management process on our private Community.  A user will now need to obtain 50 kudos in 3 months for product management to review.

We want to encourage the user to campaign among their peers by sending emails when the reach 20 and 40 etc.

Is this possible?  Has anyone achieved this with some extra development?

@mhock - Lithium doesn't allow the custom email triggers. Also, there doesn't seem to be any API which tracks the kudos by itself - so you can custom develop a component to track 50 kudos in 3 months and then use any 3rd party email triggers to send the notification to the users. However, you could also use the private messages instead of using emails using a 3rd party server.

Thank you for the quick response.  It is good to have a definitive answer. 

I think we may end up with a report that simply shows ideas near the threshold.
