Are tags crawled in the search?

Hi

I need to know if tagging will help the internal search engine find articles or not. Are tags crawled as well as labels when you search?  Will they affect the internal SEO?

I don't find information about this in any of the information on tags in here I can find

@JulieU, Yes Tags and Labels both are crawled in Khoros search, but in Khoros you cannot boost your search results as you want them to show your on the search results. Even there is no way to make priories in terms of keywords where the match of the results will come from.

There are other effective search tool available in the market which can help to boost and enhance your search to next level. It also have capability to search records from different type of sources.

So tags and labels are not weighted more than words in the text and subject?

@JulieUExactly. When we search any keywords in results with the best match, it always looks for Subject and description first.
