There's not a great way to do this, but here’s how to get an XML file with the subscription info. You can save the file as XML and open it with Excel to get a count, if nothing else. Depending on your account, there may be some extra permissions required to permit you to also get names and emails.

I've seen that some subscriptions at the category level might not show up in these lists. I've not seen how to get a category subscription report.
