I was wondering if LSW can handle dialogue resulting from paid social media activities like promoted tweets, twittercards, facebook sponsored stories and the further?
Hi,
ive less experience of using Facebook in LSW but you've got full firehouse access on Twitter so you'll be able to pull anything you want into LSW.

@marconierlich, LSW brings in all comments/replies on dark/unpublished and paid posts on Facebook and replies to paid/promoted tweets on Twitter. Conversations in LSW that are associated with dark/unpublished posts on Facebook get the 'Unpublished' tag so that you can choose to route, prioritize and report on these conversations separately if you'd like.
Thanks Leslie
And replies on tweets can be hidden as well?
Cheers, Marco

@marconierlich - I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'replies on tweets can be hidden'? Do you mind explaining your question a little further?
Interaction on paid tweets (that are targeted for a geographical region for instance) should not be visible by all followers. Is this possible?
Hey @marconierlich - if I've understood your question here correctly, tweets--by nature--are public. Unless you are driving your community members to tweet a reply via DM they are always going to be searchable, such is the way Twitter works. Replies to a promoted tweet are going to be visible to other community members viewing said tweet, however you could circumvent this for different geographical segments by putting together multiple paid tweets targeting these different areas, I am pretty sure this would avoid the overlap.
Of course, the tweets would still technically be viewable, but they wouldn't be stumbled upon inadvertently, which is what it sounds like you're getting at.
Regarding your original question, yes definitely - LSW is robust enough to be able to pull this stuff in, at very high volumes if required.
Hope this helps 🙂
@marconierlich Interactions with (replies to) Promoted Tweets are the same as any other Tweets, so they can be pulled into LSW based on your firehose filters. Even the Promoted-only Tweets are considered live Tweets except that they are specifically targeted to the users in your campaigns, so they would only be shown in the timeline of those users; however, those tweets and any interactions with them would also available as part of the firehose since they are all live.
