I'm either thick or having a senior moment. We just updated from 19.7 to 19.10 and in Community Metrics I can't find where to access the bulk download of member metrics. The release notes say:
o download member data:
I can't find "Bulk Downlaod Member Data" (logged in as administrator). Where did I turn left when I should have turned right? This is what I see when I follow the instructions found HERE.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hm, I have the same situation as you, @kgroneman. On 19.10, logged in as an admin, don't see "Bulk Download Member Data" in Community Analytics. I have confirmed that I have "Export Member metrics in bulk from Community Analytics" permission (actually have Allow Grant on this, since I'm an admin).
Sooo... support case?
@CarolineS I just opened a support case. Stay tuned.
@CarolineS support says: "the GA rollout was delayed while the team worked on some improvements for the feature" FYI.
Thank you!! I’m so glad they decided go tell us 😐
Bulk download of member metrics feature is available now. The delay was because we decided to put this feature behind special privileges as it contains PII data of all members (This is based on the feedback we received during the launch, see the community discussion here)
User needs to have 'Administrator' role or should be assigned a new role 'AdvancedAnalyticsUser' to access this feature. See more details on this new role here
Thanks @JosephA! Do we need to be on a specific version of Khoros for this to be available?
The new analytics role is introduced in 19.9. So 19.9 onwards should be able to access.
Got it, thanks!
Thanks @JosephA . I see it now. I😊
Could anyone confirm if this is working for them right now? I am trying to click it in Analytics, and nothing happens regardless of the filter/date range I am using.
@StanGromer I just tried it and it seems to be working. Status is "In progress".
[EDIT] Time passes.... it completed. No problem here. We're on 20.3 scheduled to go to 20.5 in a few days in case that makes a difference.
@StanGromer @kgroneman
Please let us know if there's any problem accessing the Bulk Member Exports still.
CC @SudheeshN
@PrernaR I actually narrowed it down to being either a problem with me, or the version of Chrome I am using, including incognito - Version 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit)
@StanGromer
Are you using that particular Chrome version on Windows, Mac or Linux?
@StanGromer I'm using Chrome Version 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) and it's working for me.
@PrernaR Windows! Not a big deal, very well could just be me, I break stuff a lot 🙂
