Change banner image in community home page.

Hi,

I'm relatively new to the Khoros community. So, pardon me for this fundamental question. I'm trying to provision my dev instance and setup a sample community in Lithium. 

I want to know how do we manage the banners and headers in a community home page. 

I tried to skim though documents for "Lithium Studio" and layouts, skins. But, i'm unable to change the background images either. I came across the release notes where the banner is improved but no steps to change is per requirement. 

Any help would be appreciated.

You'll likely find it easier to just build a custom header component, will give you more control over the whole header and what you want to do with it as you may want to change other things along the way.

It's possible there is, i just recall when i spoke with my devs about what i wanted to achieve when we did the responsive skin there answer was a custom job, good luck

Thanks guys. I thought there would be an easier way to change it. Strange there's nothing out of the box.

If I get it correctly these are the steps I need to take

1. Go to components and create a custom component.

2. Give the image URL from uploaded assets and add other relevant code pieces

3. Add the component in the page (in admin view > page tab) and save.

In this case we would not modify anything at the skin level.

Is the above interpretation correct?

@gaurang I am trying to find the exact place in Studio, but as long as you have the correctly sized image, it should be easy to add.
