Does Lithium have to be setup as a subdomain?

Someone new to researching this product.  I noticed lithium communities seem to always be a subdomain.  Is there an option to have the a community live under an existing domain within a subfolder?  Example:

Instead of "community.abccompany.com" can you have "www.abccompany.com/community"?

If there are specific examples, those would be great to review as well.

Thanks!

Hi @eraether,

It is possible to have Lithium as a subdomain. I believe you'd need a reverse proxy setup to accomplish this. There are pros and cons to reverse proxy. Check out Reverse proxy and Lithium communities to continue your research.

Hi Suzie.

I dont have permissions to access the link you provided:

"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."

Any other way I can access the content that you mentioned?

Thank you!

Hi @eraether

You should now have access.

Hi Kenneth,

I have the same question. I would also like to have access to these guidelines if possible.

Thanks
