Email Digest KPIs

We are in the process of making some UI enhancements to our email digests. As there are several different digest types, I'd like to know metrics around the current digest engagement so we can prioritize which digests to update and understand if this is even something we should be spending time on

Some examples of metrics that would be helpful to see:

  • # of users subscribed to receive email notifications
  • # of users subscribed to each notification frequency (immediate, weekly, etc)
  • Clicks on unsubscribe from an email digest
  • CTR from the digest into Community

Does this (or any level) of email notification data exist in Khoros? If not, has anyone found other ways of measuring the success of email notifications?

Yes, this is something that is much needed in the platform but unfortunately not offered @drhkc3. Currently there's no easy way to see whether your email notifications are hitting the mark. 

This is something that I believe many other Khoros customers would like. Here's one enhancement request -

We've also been asking for more robust messaging capabilities for some time...

I suspect the best course is to get a Google Analytics expert to assist you so you can track clickthroughs.
