Looking at the country information that I can filter by in Community Analytics I was wondering
At which point of the user journey is the country association determined? On registration for the account register event?
And what about following visits from another country for that user? Are the individual view events tied to a different country than the user account country as determined by registration?

Interesting question! My thought is the country information is based on the individual User Visit rather than User Account. Because the same user account could be visiting the site from different location.
PS: I don't have country information in my Community Analytics. This is what I see. Do you see a different menu?
Country of every particular activity (page view, visit, post , kudo etc) is determined using the IP address of where that specific request orgininated from.
It doesn't matter which country the user originally registered in.
@Chao you'd be able to see the country filter in the filters.
Thanks for confirming that all country information is tied to the IP on the event.
So when looking at the "Members" report in Community Analytics and applying a country filter that would be the country of the IP used when clicking "Sign in". Good to know
