How to add labels in Admin

I know that you can add your desired labels in admin to that you select from a list when choosing a label for your blog post. I'm just having trouble remembering where to go to add more labels...

If I am not mistaken you do that when you create your community structure>Create New Blog>Predefined Labels

but how to edit the existing structure... I am not sure.

@Karlee92

It's easy. Just go to Admin >> Features >> Labels.

The trick is that you must change the scope to a particular board, rather than leaving it at community level.

So in the example below, I've changed the scope to the Interiors board in our Discussion category on Workshop. Then I can add or remove any labels from the list as I see fit.

Hope that helps.

Hi, I've tried this and labels doesn't appear in my menu.

If I look under Categories I get the option to edit existing labels but I can't add a new one.

@ionyema, as Jason mentioned, you must change the scope to a particular board. The UI to add Labels is at the Board level and can only edit existing ones at the levels above.

Thanks for the screenshot!

Click on "Choose" in the pink area:

That will bring up a menu of areas of your community.

Select the forum/board that you want to update and you will see a different experience allowing you to add/remove labels as well as the rules around using them.

It worked, thanks! 🙂
