How to find and export survey results


I am new to the community I'm managing and to the Khoros platform. We have a survey in place and my boss wants to see the results. I've found the survey, but I don't know how to find the results in a format my computer will open.

To find the results, I follow the following path.

  • Community > Features > Value Analytics > Localization

Hi @PiperWilson the above will get you the strings to change the copy based on languages.

You can get the Value Analytics results in Community Analytics > Members > Value Analytics.

The link to CA should be visible to you in the Community Dashboard.

Thank you for your response. I can't find the "Community Analytics" tab. Can you help with that? 

I hope that's an out-of-the-box thingy. (Thingy is a technical term, don't'cha know!)

Hi Piper! The link to access Community Analytics is usually in a widget called the Community Dashboard (visible to only Admins and Moderators usually, unless the Community Manager has enabled another role to see it). The Community Dashboard widget is typically on the Community's home page or a Category page. If you can't find it there, it means it needs to be added to the quilt for one of those types of pages (which is done in Studio). Hope that helps!

To export the survey results, you need to go into Community Analytics. It'll be on of the options on the left side (I don't have access to a prod environment at the moment else I would include a screenshot for you).  It'll export a CSV that has the row by row results including the user of who submitted it.

Hi Piper! Yes, @StanGromer is correct...what you're looking for is in a section called Community Analytics. Right now, the screen shot you sent is in Community Admin, which is part of the back end of our platform. 

When you go to your community's home page (the same home page your users visit), do you see a widget called Community Dashboard somewhere on that? The Community Analytics link will be within that.
