Is it possible to change video quality allowed?

Is there a way to control for quality of videos that are allowed to be uploaded in a post? A colleague has indicated that he uploaded a 4k video in a post, but once it was live, the quality clearly decreased.

Does anyone know if there is a setting I can change to allow for higher quality video uploading?

Hi, did you already change some of the settings on this page in Admin /bizapps/bizappspage/tab/community%3Aadmin%3Afeatures%3Avideo%3Ainternal-video

There's a max file size there but not sure if that impacts the quality question. It might be a support ticket to allow certain resolutions.

Thanks for the reply! So the file size itself is within the parameters set on the admin page you linked, but I'm guessing the below also affects ability to show 4k:

It doesn't let me set the maximum to higher than 2,000px, so perhaps this is the issue? In which case, support ticket it is 🙂

Thanks both; I got the following response from support:


"After carefully reviewing this request, we found that the supported ones are video700, video1200, video2000, and audio96 which gives up to 720px. And unfortunately, there is no other way to go above 720p.
