Issue in displaying teaser images in Blog listing page

Hi,

I have one issue in displaying teaser images.

In Blog listing page, if i dont have a article teaser image, image is displaying from article body.

My requirement is like, whatever i add in teaser(either text or image) that only should display in blog listing page.

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

Your second line contradicts with your third line. You've mentioned that "if I don't have an article teaser image, it is displaying from body" and your requirements is "whatever you add in teaser should display on blog listing page".

So, what is the problem, it is doing exactly what you want.

Hi Varun,

In my blog listing page, the content(image/text) that i add in teaser part should display. But in my case, if I dont have a teaser image, body image is displaying in listing page.

Kindly help me to fix this issue.

Hi Madhukar,

  Its happening because you are not adding anything at all in teaser field, if you want to prevent displaying main body content you must put empty space or some sort of text. Ideally I put some blank space so that it works fine. Please try this one.

Hi Hayat,

In my case, I have added some text in teaser but no image in teaser.

I added text with images in body.

Now, in my blog listing page, text is displaying from teaser & image is displaying from body.

I attached screenshots for your reference.

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

I didn't find attached image in edit post screenshot, can you high light same ? I think you need to attach 

OR

I have another work around. If you permanently want to block teaser image than please try to do it with Jquery. 

Make one custom component with Jquery Script tag. 

in $(document).ready() just include $(".tease-image").hide();

It will hide all of your teaser image on blog page. 

Don't forget to include this component on blog page only.

No no. I dont want to permanently block it.

Whenever i add an image with text in teaser, every thing showing correct i.e., correct teaser image with correct text.

But If i'm adding only text in teaser without image, then, body image is displaying along with teaser text.

My requirement is, If there is no teaser image, only text that was added in teaser should be shown.

Ok, Understood your requirement. Can you show me one blog with teaser image and one blog with body image. so I can differentiate both on blog list page.

We have an issue with the teaser not appearing at all. We can add it when creating the blog but it does not display. Before I reach out to support, any ideas?

Teaser content should be visible on Blog Page.
Blog page is one where you can see a list of all blogs articles.

If you are not sure how to check which page you are on, follow below steps to confirm that you are looking at correct page :

1. Open the community on chrome browser
2. Press F12 on keyboard, this will open developer console
3. Under Elements tab you should be able to find HTML code for the page
4. Find body tag in the HTML code to see if its Blog Page

Please let me know if you are still not able to see, as in that case the components used on Blog Page quilt might need to be verified.
