Merge boards & retain subscriptions

I am in the process of consolidating our Community structure and want to ensure that all of our users' subscriptions remain intact. 

I can use batch processing to move content, but want to make sure that our users are not losing their subscriptions. Has anyone successfully executed something similar?

@matthew_cowan The users will retain the subscriptions for the content from the existing board to the new board, but they will not carry over the existing board's subscription.

I don’t believe there is any method out of box to do this. You’d have to utilize the API to bulk subscribe everyoneto the new node(s).
