There is content in our knowledgebase that we'd like to be nonsearchable - pages you could only access through direct hyperlinking from existing articles but which wouldn't appear in search results. For example, we have a current set of procedures, but we want the old procedures to be accessible without appearing in search results (they would be linked from the current procedures with a contextual note like, "for issues occurring before X date, click here"). Having pages we could link to without having them appear in search would greatly improve our search experience.
