On Premise Hosting?

Does Lithium allow their clients to host their community solution on the client's premise?

@Gina is there any reason why you want to host a community on your side? Based on my experience it's always better to have a SaaS hosted by the provider, not on premise.

Hi Gina.

The answer is "no" it's saas or nothing however as someone who has managed communities hosted on my own kit and by a 3rd party I understand the pros and cons of both but providing you have a good hosted solution then it's always better than "on premise" solution in my opinion.

Good luck with your search, feel free to ask any other questions.

@Gina - No. Lithium is a SAAS based platform (Software as a Service) so you can't install it on premises. This link can provide a good background of the platform architecture.
