Product Mentions on Windows OS devices

Are there plans to enable the function on Windows devices? Our members are not very happy about its exclusion.

Hi Tobias - unfortunately, there are no plans to add support for product mentions to mobile devices and I strongly recommend opening an idea on the idea exchange to discuss this further.

Sorry, let me re-phrase. Are there plans to enable the feature's use on Windows Devices when used in 'full site' mode? Members are saying it does not work for them from a Win O2 device.

No problem! Unfortunately, we do not support the desktop (full) version of the community on mobile devices.

We were looking at using product mentions as well as a way to allow our community members to discuss software versions. I'm curious about his report of yours, Tobias. Can you specify a bit what the feedback is that you received from your community members on feature breakage on Windows devices? From the feedback I found on the o2 UK community it looks like it's not working on the Lumia 950. Bit surprising since Lithium is supporting Microsoft Edge.

Just gave it a try myself:

Product mentions work fine in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 Desktop 

Product mentions don't work (e.g. after typing # no popup appears) in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 Mobile on Lumia 920 

New question then:

Are product mentions supported in full site view on mobile devices in the new responsive UI?

This what I was saying 🙂

It doesn't work from mobile devices (in mobile view) and Windows devices (in full view mode)

My members use the mobile version prominently, so its a but of a blocker at the moment in terms of asking them to use the feature.
